小玉（化名）是個夜校高職生，由小男友陪同，躲躲閃閃進到婦產科診間來，一坐下，就表示自己已先驗孕，可能懷孕了。在超音波掃描下，果然在子宮內，已經看到小胚囊，預估已經6週了。

小玉開始啜泣，小男友也慌了，直拜託醫師幫忙拿掉小孩。當醫師告知，因兩人均未成年，要施行墮胎手術還是要監護人簽字同意時，小玉更慌了，哭著說，如果被家長知道就完了，一定會被趕出家門；醫師面對驚慌無助的小兩口，以及接下來他們得面對的家庭風波，真是心疼又無奈。

由於網路資訊發達，發生性行為的年齡層逐漸下降，很多年輕人雖知道要避孕，但如何做到安全、正確的性愛呢？筆者常常在門診訪談中，遇到令人哭笑不得的避孕錯誤觀念，尤其是一些哭哭啼啼由家屬或朋友陪同來驗孕的年輕女孩，直說怎麼會那麼倒楣「中獎」？搞不清怎麼一回事；細問之下，才知道小情侶偷嚐禁果怎敢請教師長？避孕的知識全由網路或同儕口耳相傳、相互學習而來。

有些關於避孕似是而非的說法，例如誤信「性交後，快速用可樂沖洗陰道可殺精子」，或者用「快速水沖法」，用大量水將精子由陰道沖洗出來，可達避孕效果。其他如女性第一次的性經驗絕對不會懷孕，或者性交後跳樓梯、上廁所、泡熱水澡等，都不會懷孕。但這些所謂「安全避孕」都是「絕對錯誤」的觀念。

正常下，男性一次射精的量約3至5CC，所包含的精子數以千萬計。大概有一半會在性交後，流出體外，其餘的精子在最佳狀況下，會快速游進輸卵管，停留在女性體內，還有很多人忽略在一開始發生性行為時，就已經會有少量尿道分泌物或者精液流出，因為數量很少，男方往往沒有射精的感覺，但卻可能因為這些「先驅部隊」而導致女方意外懷孕。

所以，事後用可樂來沖洗陰道，除了殺不了精子外，更會破壞女性陰道的酸鹼平衡，造成陰道炎。

此外，多數成年人對於避孕，寧可選擇一些較有醫學根據的說法：如性交中斷法、體外射精，或推算安全期。但事實上，這些是否就是絕對保險的避孕方法呢？其實同樣原理，體外射精前，就可能已經有精子游入女方體內了。

至於採用安全期避孕的關鍵是要確定婦女的排卵日期，但有些女性有時因健康情況、環境改變及情緒波動等，可能使得排卵日不規則，這樣按月經週期推算出來的排卵期就不夠正確，避孕的失敗率也相對提高。

安全性愛的方法無非是全程使用保險套、口服避孕藥，或裝設子宮內避孕器，這也是目前最正確且保險的避孕方法。尤其是男性情人要建立「愛」她就是要「保護」她的愛情觀，事前防範措施要為對方設想，才不會因一時情迷，傷害了情人。

萬一不小心懷孕，未婚的年輕女性也要懂得求助長輩及婦產科醫師，千萬不可再道聽塗說，採信其他墮胎偏方，或自行購買墮胎藥服用，最後留下不可收拾的殘局。
